Protec150 Lumen Headlamp w/Red+Green LEDs Image

This is a Protec 150 Lumen Headlamp which while it can be used as a hands free tactical headlamp, with Red and or Green LEDS for a more subdued lighting. What I use it for is hands free cleaning and maintaining my firearms, instead of holding a flashlight to see into those hard to clean areas, the light allows me to work without having to pick up a light, look, clean and recheck. It is good too for those projects where you need light, but also need to use both hands for gunsmithing or other work.

Camouflage Paint Schemes for Firearms
$125$75.00
Sale
Camouflage Paint Schemes for Firearms Image

Before duracoat finish was invented, there weren’t much options available to camouflage your firearm. You could buy tape on camo or even patterns to spray paint onto the firearm. We’ve been applying flat enamel based hobby paint to our firearms as it is available in many different colors suited to applying a camo theme to your rifle. The paint suffers through abuse and cleaning solvents and while it may scratch or chip after long term use, all it takes a a brush and some paint to “Repair” the scratch or chip. We offer hand painting of your rifle for $125.00 as it does take four to six hours plus material to apply the paint. You will need to let it harden and set for about a week after application and put up with a “Paint” odor for a little while, but when it’s done, it is hard to beat and besides serving a function, it looks good too. Here we have a POF 415, M+M M10 AK, Beretta Model 1200, (Done in the 1980’s) and a Tavor X95. The M+M 10 has been in place about 10 years now. You can drop off your firearm for painting or email us with what you’re interested in having done for a quote for more complex schemes. You can have your firearm shipped to us, but we’ll need to return it to an FFL for return transfer to you. You’ll have to pay shipping both ways. Contact us at rdgrnr@q.com, if you have any more questions.

Smith and Wesson Model 5, 4th modification 38 Special M+P
$450.00$350.00
Sale
Smith and Wesson Model 5, 4th modification 38 Special M+P Image

This is an old Smith and Wesson, made before WWII, likely in the 1930’s. It is in fair condition as the bluing is worn off of the front and rear grip straps and in other areas of the pistol, has some light rusting and some light pitting. Grips are well worn. Somewhere in its’ life the cylinder stop notches have been peened to tighten the lock up, although it doesn’t seem loose, but you can see the light pings on all of the notches. It has the S&W marquee on the left side of the frame, no marquee on the right side, it is a five screw revolver. There is no Made in USA stamp found on later models at the forward right side of the frame. The top of the barrel is stamped with the Smith and Wesson Springfield Mass USA along with Patents,Feb 06, 06, Sept 14, 09 and Dec 29, 14. Production Numbers on the frame and yoke are 28125 and on the cylinder, barrel and heel are 404650. The grips were made before the S&W emblem was used and common. The rifling is strong. These firearms were know as the M+P and later the Model 10 M+P. This revolver predates those designations and no such markings are stamped on the revolver. A true working firearm from early turn on the last century. The firearm needs cleaning. It comes with a set of plastic grips in addition to the originals. It is a consignment from an estate sale. Custom Built 30-06 Springfield Armory rifle
$1400.00$800.00
Sale
Custom Built 30-06 Springfield Armory rifle Image
This is not a hack job like most other chopped and backyard built early hunting rifles built on surplus military rifles. This has a high quality Bishop Black Walnut stock, high gloss bluing, a custom barrel, Stith Mounts and an American Bausch & Lomb Balvar optic, not stamped for magnification but likely 3 or 4 power. The mounts have a quick dismount of the scope by an thumb wheel and when off, there is a peep site for emergency use. A Lyman front sight is pressed onto the barrel. The only issue with the high gloss bluing is minor surface wear at the front sight and a small, almost invisible, light scratch on top of the barrel about mid length. The Walnut stock has a few, almost not noticeable light compression dents from normal field use with a small scratch, near the butt plate, NOT a crack, as noted in the photos. The bolt is highly polished, plained flat and curved to an inlet in the Bishop stock. You have to dismount the scope mounts to view the serial number and the number dates the ’03 action as to being made between 1921 to 1922 before the custom build. It is considered to be one of the receivers that is double heat treated and not at risk to failure as are those serial numbered before 800,000. The owner’s father picked up this rifle from a fellow who said it was built in Germany in the 1940’s but my belief is the rifle was put together and custom built in the 1950’s which is the era you will find the use of Stith mounts and the prime dates of manufacture for Bishop stocks. This is a beautiful custom built rifle in 30-06, quality workmanship and finish. I wish we knew who the maker was who put this together. Old world craftsmanship is very evident and is the nicest I’ve seen built off an ’03 action. The gunsmith who produced this rifle knew what he was doing. One small speck of rust on one of the scope mounts. Consignment sale and is Curio and Relic eligible. For more photos go to; https://www.gunbroker.com/item/786254009

Winchester 1876 45/75 first production run rifle
$10,000.00
Winchester 1876 45/75 first production run rifle Image

This rifle was introduced and featured at the USA’s first centennial national exposition in Philadelphia, PA in 1876. It is an 1876 Winchester, no caliber markings as they were first produced in 45/75, which was the very first rifle only cartridge introduced by Winchester. Up until then, they were all made firing revolver cartridges. Beside the Stamping Model 1876 is a “1” which notes it is one of the first production run rifles. It does not have the later dust cover which supports this as well as a three digit serial number. The rifle is in fair condition, with some wood shrinkage and some small cracks in the stock, but it is still solid, we should look so good when we’re 141 years old. The bore is fair, actually good for a black powder round and the owner has shot the rifle with no issues. Some of these rifles, in excellent shape had sold for $30,000.00, while this doesn’t fall into that level, it is still a piece of American history you’ll be proud to own and even shoot. Consignment sale.  The rifle is an antique and can be shipped directly to you.  Higher shipping cost as the rifle is large and heavy. Forgot to mention, purchase includes a letter from the Cody Winchester Museum describing the rifle’s historical significance and confirming it as a first model 1876, noting this by the lack of a dust cover, the lower serial number and the lack of caliber stamping as 45/75 was a proprietary cartridge and the rifle was first produced only in that caliber. For more photos, please see our listing at Gun Broker: https://www.gunbroker.com/item/769661871

Arisaka Type 38, very collectible early school first model w original bayonet
$650.00$475.00
Sale
Arisaka Type 38, very collectible early school first model w original bayonet Image

Type 38 6.5 Japanese, made at the Koishikawa Arsenal, (Picture 57) and is a first model, (Picture 60) likely made before 1923. This rifle was taken out of military service and two lines are struck though the chrysanthemum, (Pictures 45+46) to indicate this as well as the school marking (Pictures 45+46) above the Japanese characters indicating a “38 Shiki or model”(Pictures 45+46). On the side of the receiver two zeros (Picture 5, save and zoom it, there are two lightly stamped zeros before the actual serial number) are added to further note it is a school rifle.  Many type 38 rifles were removed from military service and relegated to school use.  These rifles had an added character on the receiver near the mum, which is present just below the mum.  Often times, the mum was defaced, noted by the two slash stampings in the mum and two to several “0”s were added prior to the serial number as noted on the receiver. There are the four circles on the side of the receiver, (Right side of Picture 61), which were used on rifles made from 1870 to 1935. The mark on the side of the receiver, below the Circle Triangle, (Which notes Koishikawa Arsenal), shows the rifle is a series “1” meaning it was one of the first Type 38’s, (Picture 60). What is also interesting is there are two plus star shaped stamps, (Picture 62) possibly Izawa Jyuko in the side of the stock which may have been added in 1945 as the rifle was possibly reclaimed for military issue? Also included is an original Nagoya Arsenal Bayonet (Picture 26 save and zoom it near the hilt) which were made from 1923 to 1945 with the rifle. The rifle is not an import and is a GI Bring Back. The bolt does not match the receiver serial number as often is the case with these rifles. Overall, this rifle saw little use and has a few handling marks and is an excellent example of an early school Series One Model T-38. The bore is dark but the rifling is strong but there is light pitting though out the barrel but nothing to prevent it from firing if you so choose to do. This is a rarer T-38 with an original bayonet well worth the investment for a collector. Curio and Relic License okay. Additional pictures can be emailed to you at your request. Don’t let this one get by!

Remington M700 Custom by Intermountain Arms .280 Remington Image

The firearms are a consignment sale and are in good+ condition. Many of the firearms are custom built and have either European high dollar optics or American Made Optics before the American companies went overseas for production. These firearms belong to a fellow who has hunted all over the world and they have been used. They are not safe queens, and may have scratches, dings and dents. They are not pickup truck guns either, but are very high quality custom built rifles unless otherwise noted. Some of the firearms in in very good condition and I will note such. The firearms like the Weatherby and Colt Sauer Rifles are W. German made, not the current rifles from Japan. There are two Japanese Browning shotguns, but all other firearms are still true to their original country’s manufacture. One Browning shotgun is Belgium made. Understand the photos I have posted are what I was able to take at the gentleman’s home and I cannot offer additional photos if requested. The bores and rifling are all excellent. Understand too, that these firearms cost a lot of money in their day and to actually have one made like them now, will cost several thousand dollars. If you can handle a used firearm with a few cosmetic dings and scratches, you will own a one of a kind, custom rifle. Since these are not historically collectable firearms, a refinishing of the stock will not lessen their value and you can take the time to do that and have an almost perfect, rifle, well worth the price and effort. No issues, nice rifle, with Zeiss 3×9. Intermountain Arms is still out of Meridian ID however they’re not building these kinds of rifles. Built a long while ago and the builder has passed. The duct tape was used and peeled off to cover the muzzle when out in the field to keep water out of the barrel. No issues with that other than cleaning off the tape. Nice custom rifle from a rare but very well respected company.

Only real issue is a chip out of the cap on the comb, maybe a few scratches on the synthetic stock. The Swarovski is a ground breaking laser ranging scope which tells you the yardage to your shot so you can adjust point of impact. Plotted out data sheet taped to stock. No issues with finish of rifle.
