Camouflage Paint Schemes for Firearms-image

Before duracoat finish was invented, there weren’t much options available to camouflage your firearm. You could buy tape on camo or even patterns to spray paint onto the firearm. We’ve been applying flat enamel based hobby paint to our firearms as it is available in many different colors suited to applying a camo theme to your rifle. The paint suffers through abuse and cleaning solvents and while it may scratch or chip after long term use, all it takes a a brush and some paint to “Repair” the scratch or chip. We offer hand painting of your rifle for $125.00 as it does take four to six hours plus material to apply the paint. You will need to let it harden and set for about a week after application and put up with a “Paint” odor for a little while, but when it’s done, it is hard to beat and besides serving a function, it looks good too. Here we have a POF 415, M+M M10 AK, Beretta Model 1200, (Done in the 1980’s) and a Tavor X95. The M+M 10 has been in place about 10 years now. You can drop off your firearm for painting or email us with what you’re interested in having done for a quote for more complex schemes. You can have your firearm shipped to us, but we’ll need to return it to an FFL for return transfer to you. You’ll have to pay shipping both ways. Contact us at [email protected], if you have any more questions.

Arizona Historical Silver Mexican Fire Opal Concho Necklace-image
I have a deep family history in Arizona, my Great, Grand Uncle and Aunt came to Tucson in the early 1870’s. L.C. Hughes served as a City Council Member of Tucson, Pima County Attorney,  Arizona Territorial Attorney General and Territorial Governor. This necklace belonged to my Great, Grand Aunt, Josephine Brawley Hughes. She is known as a pioneer woman and was involved in a lot of firsts for Arizona. My Great, Grandmother, Josephine’s sister came and lived with them in Tucson and my Grandmother was named after her Aunt Josephine. My grandmother ended up with the necklace, given to her by her Aunt. Because I had a great love of our history and service to Arizona, upon her death, I was given the necklace. I was told it had been gifted to my great aunt by their counterparts from Mexico. The Necklace is hand crafted out of silver and has four Mexican Fire Opals set in the Conchos. It is signed by ”John J” however I have not been able to find him noted in any of the silversmiths trademarks. Likely long forgotten by now. If you understand the history of Mexico and Arizona, in dealing with the Apache, you’ll know why the stones are Opals and not Turquoise. Turquoise is sacred to the Apache and during the time period this was presented to my relative, the Apache were the enemy and likely recently subdued and it would have been in bad taste, at a minimum, to present this to those who lived through this era as they did. I have no documents noting the history of this necklace other than what I had been told by both my Grandmother and mother, both who have passed on. Josephine Brawley Hughes was elected to the Arizona Woman’s Historical Society as a Pioneer woman and mother of education and champion of women’s right and suffrage. The Color photo shows my mother receiving the recognition at a ceremonial presentation with Governor Rose Mofford. Standing to my mother’s left is my Father, Founder and Chief of Golder Ranch Fire District, my sister and at the end is myself, a serving Arizona State Highway Patrol Officer. The photo was taken in 1990. Photos of my Great, Grand Aunt and Uncle and here are a couple of links explaining their history. I will include a notarized letter stating how I received the necklace and its origins. Fired very little, looks new and is a no Dash Nickel Model 36 in 38 Special. Comes with a holster, no box. Consignment sale.

$990.00

This rare pistol, in excellent condition, was made in 2002, includes: Ruger pouch, original factory and Hogue molded grip. The 4" SP101 32H&R magnum was made from 1994 and discontinued in 2009.

Introduced by Ruger in 1989, the SP101®, the revolvers have solid steel sidewalls (no side-plates), making them rugged, reliable, and dependable.

Cushioned rubber grip with black synthetic or hardwood insert has no exposed metal in the backstrap, making it extremely comfortable. Takedown of integrated subassemblies requires no special tools, allowing for easy maintenance and re-assembly. Transfer bar mechanism provides an unparalleled measure of security against accidental discharge. Grip frame easily accommodates a variety of custom grips. Triple-locking cylinder is locked into the frame at the front, rear and bottom for more positive alignment and dependable operation shot after shot.

The .32 H&R Mag. debuted in 1983–1984 as a joint project between Federal Cartridge and Harrington & Richardson. The .32 H&R was intended to offer stopping power that approached the level of the .38 Special but with less recoil and in a compact revolver that held six rounds.  The 32 is a dandy little field cartridge with excellent long-range capabilities. It’s also more stinkin’ fun than should be legal. (Excerpted from Shooting Times.) Consignment sale.  For more photos go to https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1105851227

They lasted on the market a few years then were discontinued. Very concealable and safe. P7 9mm complete, new in the box and never fired. $2600.00

This is a rare firearm, ODI Viking, basically a 1911 Commander 45 with a Seecamp double action trigger conversion marketed installed as a production pistol. Very nice, almost can say NIB but there is some marks on the front of the slide as noted in one photo. That is the only noted wear, otherwise the pistol is like new. The firearm is a complete package and includes a letter for new owners on how to contact the original company for warranty work. It was an innovation at the time, however, it was at the beginning of the entry of Double Action, Single Action 45 autos and had competition from other companies introducing their products. I suspect paying for the Seecamp conversion became cost prohibitive from the other production pistols entering the market. This pistol is a piece of history and well made. Consignment sale. For more photos go to; https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1083451477

$750.00

Orbea H Eibar is a Spanish pistol maker. This is a copy of the Smith and Wesson model 10 in 38 special. It comes with pearl grips and a custom Piteado cactus thread embroidered holster. The holster is a work of a genuine craftsman from Mexico, not like the border holsters you buy in Mexico in the border towns for tourists. The revolver also hails from Mexico and has genuine pearl grips. We can only speculate the status of the original owner. It is old and does index and locks up and functions, noted as a 38 special caliber. A conversation starter to say the least. As it is old, you should have the revolver checked by a competent gun smith before firing as the quality of manufacturers from Spain have a wide spread on their productions. We're not seeing any issues to cause concern with the revolver, but having said that, be sure and have it checked. Consignment sale. For more photos go to; https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1083444634

$2200.00

What we have here is a custom built Remington Rand 1911A1. The most prominent features are solid silver grips inlaid with turquoise. The holster is a Mexican Pitrado holster with cactus thread embroidery, beautiful work, not like the leather holsters you buy just across the border, but from a genuine craftsman. The pistol has Novak sights, a KART match barrel and has a flared magazine funnel. The owner describes the work done as creating an accurate tack driver. No shakes or rattles you normally have with a 1911.The bushing is fitted to the barrel. The condition of the firearm is overall very good, as it is very old and nicely done. Consignment sale. For more photos go to; https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1083440879

Rifles
$1250.00

Wish we can say this is new and unfired, as it looks like it. There are no scratches or dings, no wear on the finish, 100% intact and ALL matching. This was manufactured by Fazakerley Ordnance in 1955 under contract for the British Royal Air Force. You'll not find a nicer edition to add to your collection. It comes with a bayonet and scabbard, which does not match the rifle's serial numbers, but that is the way they were issued. Estate Consignment Sale. New in box.  Smith & Wesson M&P  15-22LR with M-lock fore stock and Magpul retractable rear stock and Magpul emergency sights.

$1400.00

This rifle has never been fired and left stored for awhile. It still has the muzzle cap, along with the original treated cardboard tube inserted in the barrel. It is the blue label that was in demand during the assault rifle “ban”. It does not have the mentioned 22lr conversion kit and it does not come with a magazine. It appears the dust cover spring is turning discolored looking like rust but it is not pitted as such and it may be grease discoloring the spring. It is chambered in .223. Consignment sale. For more photos: https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1107656682

$2500.00

This is a 1950's custom built rifle on an FNH Mauser action in 264 Winchester Magnum. The wood on the rifle is beautiful and the bluing has some surface wear but not really too noticeable. It does not have a serial number, but it does have, I believe the maker's mark, on the bolt handle. The rifle is nicely done. Fitment of the stock, real wood cap on the grip and fore-stock cap. It has an unique Baush and Lomb 2.5x8  mounted Bolvar 8 scope. It is a solid mount but it is unique as the elevation and windage is adjustable by screws in the mount rather than turrets on the scope body, allowing the scope to be sealed. It has a popular thick to thin cross hairs in the scope. It is a very accurate rifle per the owner who is selling it on Consignment. Custom builder is Waltz Guns Craft out of Waterloo, Iowa. $1400.00

This rifle likely saw action in WWII as it was refurbished with a new stock and Springfield Armory barrel dated 6-50 as shown in the pictures. Nice addition to your collection. For more photos go to; https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1103962019

This Enfield is not stamped as I have found other Enfield's. It does not have a date of manufacture on the rear stock band nor do the serial numbers match. It looks like the magazine and other parts are added new replacements versus the wear and tear of the other wood and metal parts. I doubt it was put together outside of the British Armory but something repaired and set aside for reservist or foreign lend lease use. It is in overall good condition and a unique rifle to add to your collection. Estate Consignment Sale. For more photos go to https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1073202394

Shotguns
$475.00

This is a Beretta or Benelli copy made by AKUS in Turkey for Dickinson a US Company. This is recoil operated or Inertia as they call it. It fires 12 Gauge 2-3/4 and 3″ shells. It works fine, purchased it for my wife’s camp trailer and when we took her out to shoot it, too much recoil. Fired four rounds of #1 buckshot and that was it. There are better guns to have for a defensive firearm when camping, but considering state to state law and the possibility of bear or lion, now wolf, you need something that will deal with the danger. This conforms pretty much to every state law, so it was a sensible gun to have when traveling without me. This design was copied off of the two most costly and popular personal protection and police semi auto shotguns and works just as well, for half the price. Comes with a leather shell saddle and a hard case too.

$850.00

Very good condition Remington Model 1100 3" Magnum 12 gauge with a full choke and vent ribbed barrel.
